Carter and Jackson Arrive!!!! March 13, 2007

Hi all,

The Babbitt family has welcomed into this world two new bundles of joy!!!! Jackson and Carter Babbitt. Carter is in the striped hat and Jackson has the hood. These pics were taken minutes after they were born.

They've definitely got some pipes. Both of them popped out and really cranked the volume up!

I was able to dive into the delivery room after Sandy was prepped so I got some great shots of the kids being born.

They look quite a bit a like but we're getting the hang of telling them apart. We're one week in and they've already cleared their birth weight.

Jackson was born 5 lbs 15 oz and is up to 6lbs 3 oz.

Carter was born 5 lbs 14 oz. and is up to 6lbs 3oz. already too! These next pics are day 1 after birth.

Sandy and I are both doing great! Sandy spent the first few days recovering and never got introduced to a little thing called Maconia!!!! Yep, Nate changed that wonderful tar and motor oil that comes standard in newborns right out of children.
We'll say good bye for now for now and I'll leave you with a few more pics.

Enjoy the pics! I'll have a great surprise next time I can get a blog up.

36 Weeks and Still Prego

I can't believe it. My prediction that today the 28th we would be holding two beautiful boys in our arms seems to have come and gone. A couple more hours to go but no signs of budging yet. Poor Sandy is really feeling the effects of the summersaults and post dinner stretching.

You can see the pain on her face in the picture on the left. Jackson has his foot in her rib in that picture and Carter is hicupping.

Cranking away on the house. Finished up the kids room a week or two ago. Finished painting the 3rd bedroom tonight. Now I gotta put the room back together of course. The hallway is stacked to the ceiling with junk (that should go in the trash) but I can't let go of most of it. We're almost ready for a full house hold of family.

You've all been waiting for pics of Sandy's tummy so I'll get those out first. Then I'm going to post some killer pics from the Motorcycle show Sandy and I went to this weekend. So here we go!!!

And another....

And one more for fun!

Valentines Flowers

Posting some pics from Sandy and I's outing to the Motorcycle show this weekend. Ok, you'll quickly see we didn't make it to the motorcycle show. The two of us couldn't walk far enough and ended up one of our last weekends alone together with a few valentines flowers. So check in next time for some pics of sandy.

Ok, one shot of Sandy doing some weight lifting at the show.

32 Weeks! New and Improved SANDY

Hi all,

Well, this week we have a new and improved Sandy to show you. She comes equipped with the custom two pack of boyz! And this week we have some some pictures that will make you say wow. Well, let's get right to it this week.

We start 33 weeks on Monday and if I were a betting man I would bet we make it through 33, 34 and 35 (no wammies). Sandy's body is starting to feel the weight of these boys. We're taking volunteers to hold her tummy up. Looking for you to hold up 40lbs for intervals of 4 hours each 3 times a week. We're thinking she is going to grow all the way out to here.

The kids are all over the place lately. Jackson has been hanging his butt up on Sandy's stomach to the left of her belly button. He's pretty stuborn because he'll just leave it up there for hours. Totally hurts.
Carter (who's up on top) is what we call a georgia crocodile.... When he gets ahold of some ice cream he starts a rollin'
I'll bet you want to see what she really looks like don't you? Ok, Ok, what you've all been waiting for....

Hope you all enjoy! We'll keep you posted on how we're doing.

Inaugural Blog Post

Well, I thought to myself, enough is enough. The technology to do this has to be out there and I shouldn't have to spend countless hours doing web design to talk to everyone should I?
Sure enough, it's out there and we can get rolling on letting everyone know what living in the home of KFC in the burps is all about.
We can talk about city life
withdrawls, the pains we're experiencing by leaving our friends and best off all about the set of twins that are coming by stork and due to arrive late February or early March.

So stay tuned as this gets put together.

We miss you all!
