FIRST BIRTHDAYS

WE MADE IT!!!! Carter & Jackson turned ONE on the 13th of March! They are growing up so quickly, we can hardly believe it. In the Korean tradition, a child's first year is a very big deal and very big celebration. Sandy's Mom and Dad came to Georgia four days before the big party to cook and cook and cook. We had enough food for 100 people!

Here's Jackson wondering what the heck he is wearing! Doesn't he look cute, even though the outfit is two sizes too big for him?

Here is Mommy holding both boys! Work those arm muscles!

Here are both Carter and Jackson in front of all the food, getting ready to pick something from the table. Tradition goes that whatever the child picks, represents what his strength in life will be. So, Jackson selected the harmonica, which wouldrepresent a love of music or talent in music. Carter selected the CASH (by default, his Grandpa Yoon pushed all the cash in front of him and started tapping on it. What kid isn't going to go for that?), which of course represents wealth. Anyways, it was fun!

A Family Photo!

The Birthday Cakes! Both boys are wondering what the heck is in front of them.

Jackson was not too thrilled with it. He couldn't get over the "ICKY" feeling of frosting on his hands to actually eat the cake, so he stuffed himself with the grapes his Grandma Kay kept handing him instead. Can I just tell you that Nate never liked "Icky" textures on his hands when he was a little kid? I tell you, kids inherit some of the oddest things from their parents.

Carter, on the other hand, LOVED LOVED LOVED his cake. He was so happy stuffing his face. Pretty funny.

See the difference? Carter diving into the cake, Jackson eating grapes when there's a cake right in front of him!

The boys went straight from eating cake, directly into the tub. It was EVERYWHERE! Jackson had it up his nose, Carter had smeared it all over his face! By the way, a bit of advice for any new parents-to-be. Don't put any type of colored frosting on the cake. That darn Blue frosting was so hard to get out and it was everywhere!

A few pictures of family and friends who were able to make it out to help the boys celebrate their first year! Thanks everyone!
(sorry some of you have a balloon string in your face).

Time Flies

Happy New Year Everyone!
We looked at our blog tonight and couldn't believe that it has been SIX MONTHS! since we posted a new blog! BAD MOMMY & DADDY! The good news is that we have TONS! of great photos of the boys since our last blog. The bad news is that we hope we don't bore you with it all! Y'all won't believe how big they have gotten!

We are starting with them at the tail end of their fourth month and will end with the most current, at ten months!

Nate's dream of the boys playing football when they are older may be just that, a dream, as you all can see the blank looks on both Carter and Jackson's faces when presented with a football. Huh?

Look how happy Jackson looks even when his mom gives him a hairdo that makes him look like a GOOBER! Ha Ha Ha

Last year we celebrated Nate's B-day in Nashville our Aunt Sue & Uncle Mikey's house. The boys did pretty well with the birthday hats.

We love this picture! Nate especially gets a kick out of the long string of drool coming out of Carter's mouth. The boys are doing great at "Tummy Time"!

Mommy & Daddy are getting alot better at capturing the two of them smiling at the same time! Another photo we LOVE!

Poor Jackson is trying so hard to wake up!

5-1/2 months and Carter above has gotten two of his bottom teeth and Jackson has one and a half of his! Let's show those pearly whites boys!

Marti and Toni are helping with the feeding during their visit. Toni, did you get any in Jackson's mouth? Marti, you are a natural at this!

Although, Nate is not too fond of this picture (don't know why) I think it's hilarious. Looks like Jackson is saying "Stop it Marti, you're killing me"! Ha Ha Ha

The boys are six months old now and what's the first thing that Nate teaches Carter? How to act like a dog. Hmmmm.... may need to have a talk with him.

"What are you looking at?" "Haven't you ever seen a baby air out his tushy? I can't help it if I have a bad diaper rash.

Carter, did you just relieve yourself?

Mom, Dad's been under there for awhile now. Do you really need that new sink installed? "Yes Carter, I do".

Jackson, tried with every muscle in his little body to steer that tractor.

The Twins enjoying the nice breeze in their backyard. We love their cute outfits!

What? Huh? Aren't we supposed to tear up all the pages of the magazine?

Rachel, the boys had fun playing in their Mandarin outfits that you gave them! See how happy Carter looks!

Nate gave the boys a new Hairdo and looks like the boys are pretty excited about it. Look at their toothy grins! We love it!

CAUGHT RED HANDED!

Who needs pricey toys? All you need is the value pack of Paper Towels from Costco!

We can't believe it's Christmas already and that the boys are 9-1/2 months old!
Hey guys, what did Santa leave for you in your stockings?

Carter and Jackson LOVED their presents from Uncle Joel, Auntie Val and Cousins Jake & Tyler. Seems like Carter really liked it. Hmmm.... remind you of someone???

That's it for now. As soon as we figure out how to add Video Clips, we will send you some fun ones!
Wishing everyone a Wonderful 2008 and hope to see you all soon!

11 weeks to 4 months

Yes, we are FINALLY updating our blog page again. Sorry it's taken so long, but after our visit to the West Coast, we had a pretty challenging month trying to get the boys back on their Southeast schedule. The photos below will be of the boys from 11 weeks to present time, almost 5 months old! We can't believe they will be 6 monts old soon!

Here the boys are showing off their "Tummy Time" Skills. Look how much they are pushing themselves off the ground! Good job boys!

I LOVE this picture! It's cute and hilarious! Jackson has that look on his face that pretty much says "Geez Mom, I can't beleive your doing this to me!" I figure I mine as well get as many silly pictures of the boys while I can! Hee Hee.

Here is Cousin Charlie giving them lots of love and also practicing on being a great big brother as he is expecting a new brother or sister at the end of September! Jackson and Carter seem a little uncomfortable, but they love their cousin Charlie!

During out visit to LA, we celebrated Carter & Jackson's 100th Day with family, friends and lots of good food all made by their Halmonee (Grandma Ahn).

Here they are being held by their Grandpa and Grandma Ahn.

Looks Like Grandma Babbitt has her arms full! Look at all the boys (and men)!

Hey, Grand Uncle Kyu! Whatcha got in there? Looks as if Carter is itching for a sip, huh?

These guys got so much love and attention from so many of their Grand Aunts & Uncles. Here they are held by Grand Aunt Kate & Grand Uncle Steve and Grand Aunt Kathleen & Grand Uncle Steven.

Next, the boys got to hang out with their Aunt Julie, Uncle Ed and Cousin Charlie. Below they are Chillin with their Uncle Mike. I must add that we were very impressed with how well the boys did being photo props all day.

This picture with my friends Chuck and Michelle turned out great! almost looks like it could be their kids! Even their outfits match! Ha Ha Ha. Congratulations to both of them! They are expecting their first child at the end of November!

So, I think Carter & Jackson were kinda done with being photo props, but what a sweet picture huh? All the cousins, Jake, Ty, Charlie, Jackson & Carter. That's alot of testosterone sitting there. Whew!

Cousin Ty is proving to all that he is a Big Boy, holding Carter so well!

Isn't this photo so sweet! Cousin Jake is being so gentle with Jackson.

Rachel hung out with the boys one afternoon and was able to tell the two apart by the end of the day. Very impressive Rachel. Who do you have on your lap? (psst....it's Jackson!)

Here is "Happy-Go-Lucky" (that's what we call Carter sometimes), smiling away at CJ's Bachelor Pad.

Hey Jackson! where you going? Carter is trying to keep you from falling!

Excuse me mom, but I got an itch! Good job Carter!

Hey, are you two wrestling or hugging?

Hey Jackson, what are you laughing at?

Dad, what did you do to my hair and can you please dress me now? Jackson's laughing at me!

As we are nearing the end of this month's blog, I will add a few pictures of the new milestone they have reached.

BABY FOOD! YUMMY!
Mommy hasn't perfected feeding us and we haven't perfected eating it yet, but we LOVE carrots!

I thought I did pretty well this round, don't you think?
Yes Jackson, you did good.

I'm stuffed!
Carter did very well also.

AND Last, but not least..............

Jackson & Carter's first day at the Motorcycle Track where they watched their Dad ride around like a speed demon! Notice the free advertisement Kawasaki got that day. Thanks Marti and Tony for the cute outfits!

We hope everyone enjoyed this month's blog! We miss you all and look forward to seeing you again soon!
